<br />I <br /> <br />'I, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND <br />DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTION <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />On this the <br /> <br />day of September, 1954, the City Council <br /> <br />15th <br /> <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in regular session at <br /> <br />the regular meeting place thereof with the following members <br /> <br />present, t.o-wit: <br /> <br />Frank E. Dietterlch <br /> <br />, Mayor, <br /> <br />Calvin M. AlJe n <br />Coy De Viney <br />Harold G. Smith <br /> <br />Aldermen, <br /> <br />S. R. Beecroft <br /> <br />Ann Ziemke <br /> <br />, City Secretary, <br />~ Frank D. Hill, Jr. <br /> <br />and the following absent: <br /> <br />constituting a quorum present, when, among other proceedings had, <br />were the following: <br /> <br />Alderman <br /> <br />Smith <br /> <br />introduced a resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Alderman <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution <br />prevailed by the follOWing vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Aldermen <br /> <br />Allen <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />8mi th <br /> <br />De Viney <br /> <br />NOES: None. <br /> <br />The resolution is as follows: <br />WHEREAS, on thel8th day of August, 1954, the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted a resolution and order call- <br />ing an election to be held in said City on the 14th day of <br />September, 1954, on the following proposition: <br /> <br />J <br />
