Alderman De Viney seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanLnously i,n favor of the motion. An ordinance authorizing the issuance of Ci ty of ::lan 1,larcos rtefunding Bonds, deries of 19~Lr' for the puroose of canceling, refLmding and in lieu of a like amount of outstanding warrants of said City; prescribing the form of the bonds and inferest coupons; providing for the levy, assessm:mnt and, collection of an annual tax on each one [],undred dollars I valuation of all talllable property within the te,rritorial limits of the city to pay the principal and interest on said bonds at maturity; 'enacti.ng provj,Rions incident and relating to the subject and purpose of this ordinance; and declaring an emergency, was presented to t-i1.e Council for adoption.
