<br />, t <br />, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />,J <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />~ -- -l <br />I <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it is proper and necessary that the City give <br />notice of its intention to issue such refunding bonds; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized, ordered and <br />directed to do all things necessaryand!or convenient to have <br />published the notice required by Chapter 163, Acts of the Regular <br /> <br />Session of the Forty-second Legislature .of Texas, as amended; that <br /> <br />said notice shall specify the amount and purpose of the bonds, the <br />rate of interest and maximum maturity of the bonds, and it shall <br />be published in a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, once a week for three consecutive <br /> <br />weeks prior to the date of the passage of the ordinance authorizing <br /> <br />the issuance of the bonds; the date of first publication being not <br />less than thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed for the passage <br />of the ordinance authorizing the issuance of the refunding bonds; <br />and that said notice shall be substantially in words and figures <br /> <br />as shown in the form attached hereto. <br /> <br />The above resolution being read, it was moved by Alderman <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />and seconded by Alderman Allen <br /> <br />that same do pass. Thereupon, the question being called for, <br /> <br /> <br />the following members of the City Council voted AYE: Aldermen <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />Allen <br /> <br />:"jrI) th <br /> <br />Hill <br /> <br />and the following <br /> <br />DeVinev <br /> <br />voted NO: NONE. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the <br /> <br />ATTEST.: . ~ <br /> <br />-J ~~ <br />(~ <br />
