<br />I' <br /> <br />II <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Ilo.. <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, <br /> <br />Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY: <br /> <br />That said City, through its City Council, has audited and <br /> <br /> <br />allowed claims incurred in the construction of extensions and <br /> <br />improvements to the waterworks system of said City. <br />That.said claims in. the total amount of $24,000.00 are held <br /> <br />and owned by the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas; that to <br /> <br />evidence said indebtedness, as shown by said claims, there have <br /> <br />been issued and delivered to said First National Bank, CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN MARCOS WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1954, Nos. <br />1 to 24, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, bearing <br />3-1/2% interest per annum (being part of a total authorized issue <br />of $25,000.00). <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos has received full value and <br />consideration for said Warrants Nos. 1 to 24, inclusive, and that <br /> <br />there is no litigation pending or threatened growing out of the <br />issuance of said warrants nor in any way affecting the titles of <br /> <br />the within named <br /> <br />their respective offices. <br /> <br /> <br />WITNESS OUR HANDS <br /> <br />of March, 1955. <br /> <br />exas <br /> <br />an~. <br />~ <br />~~k~S~RER <br /> <br />(CITY SEAL) <br />
