Smith <br />I Alderman April 5, 1956 <br />Ann Ziemke Indefinite <br />City Secretary <br /> W. G. Barbee Indefinite <br /> City Treasurer <br /> Mrs. F. M. Hopkins Indefinite <br /> Tax Assessor <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. That the population of the City of San Marcos according <br />to the last Federal Census is 9,980. <br />3. That the regular meetings of the City Council of said <br />City are held on each Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock, P. M. <br />4. That the correct corporate name of said City is CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS and said City was duly incorporated pursuant to the <br />general laws of the State of Texas on JUly 11, 1877. <br />5. That the City of San Marcos has adopted the provisions <br />of Title 28, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, 1925. <br />6. That the City of San Marcos is organized and operating <br />under the general laws of the State of Texas and has no special <br /> <br />Charter. <br />
