<br />II <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />SECTION 3: <br /> <br />That said election shall be held under the pro- <br /> <br />visions of and in accordance with the laws governing the issuance <br />of municipal bonds by cities, as provided in the General Laws of <br />the state of Texas, and only qualified electors, who own taxable <br />property in said City and who have duly rendered the same for <br />taxation, shall be qualified to vote. <br /> <br />SECTION 4: That the ballots for said election shall have <br /> <br />written or printed thereon the following: <br /> <br />OFFICIAL .BALLOT <br /> <br />"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF THE <br />TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF." <br /> <br />"AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF <br />THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEFlEOF." <br /> <br />Each voter shall vote by placing an X in the square beside <br />the expression of his choice, or said voter may scratch or mark <br /> <br />out one of said expressions, thus leaving the other as indicating <br />his vote on the proposition. <br /> <br />SECTION 5: That a. copy of this resolution and order, signed <br />by the Mayor of said City and attested by the City Secretary, <br />shall serve as proper notice of said election. <br /> <br />SECTION 6: That the Mayor is authorized and directed to <br />cause said notice of election to be posted at the City Hall and <br />at a public place in each of the other voting precincts within <br />said City, for at least fifteen (15) full days prior to the date <br />of said election. The Mayor is further authorized and directed <br />to cause said notice of election to be published on the same day <br />in each of two successive weeks in the SAN MARCOS FlECORD, wtlch <br />is a newspaper of general circulation and published in the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, the first of said publications to be made <br />not less than fourteen (14) full days prior to the date set for <br />said election. <br />
