<br />, <br /> <br />'Ii <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, tneCity Council has duly ascertained ,and deter- <br />mined that said claims were incurred in the construction of street <br />improvements in the City of San Marcos as contemplated and author- <br />ized by ,the aforesaid ordinance of April 20,1955; and, <br />\mEREAS, said claims have bee,n duly audited and have been <br />found and determined to be valid and unpaid claims against said <br />City of San Marcos; arid <br />WHEREAS, said claims in the aggregate amount of $5,133.19 <br />have been duly and legally transferred and assigned to the FIRST <br />NATIONAL BANK, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; and, <br />\o/HEREA:S, ,it was provided in said ordinance above referred <br />to that said warrants above described should be executed, issued <br />and delivered in payment of cla.ims duly approved, audited and <br />allowed by the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City ,Council desires to a.pprove and al.low said <br />claims and to authorize the delivery of CITY OF SAN MARCQSSTREET <br />IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955, to evidence said indebted- <br /> <br />ness; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />I. <br />That the claims hereinabove listed incurred in the con- <br />struction of ,street improvements in the City of S1m, Marcos, in <br />the total amount of $5,133.19, be and ,the same are hereby <br />allowed and approved and declared to be the lawful indebtedness <br />of said City; and that the assignment of said claims to the <br />First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, be and the same is hereby <br />approved and accepted. <br /> <br />II. <br />That in accordance herewith and with the ordinance of the <br />City Council passed April 20, 1955, there shall be executed and <br />delivered to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, "CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT HARRANTS, ,SERIES OF 1955," <br />Numbers 1 to 5, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, <br />aggregating $5,000.00, eVidencing the indebtedness due by the <br />
