THENCE leaving said low bank and crossing the Wilson 45 acre tract and the McTaggart tract the following five courses: 1. S47°16'41"lll] 2416.71 feet to an~" iron rod set, 2. N45°00'00"W 337.22 feet to an ~" iron rod set, 3. S45°00'00"W 541.76 feet to an ~" iron rod set, 4. S16°51'37"W 190.68 feet to a fence post, 5. S49°37'26"W 242.45 feet, with the line of a fence to a point inside of a utility pole for south corner of this tract, in the cornmon southwest line of the McTaggart 38 acre tract and the curving northeast line of FM Highway No. 621; THENCE with said cornmon line and a left breaking curve having the following characteristics: Central angle= 05~55'14", radius=1197.66 feet, arc length =123.76 feet, tangent length=61.94 feet, and a chord which bears N29°10'19"W 123.71 feet to an iron rod found for the apparent south corner of that 1 acre tract of land described in a deed from Harve Ernest Copeland, et ux, to Arnold Schubert, et ux, dated February 29, 1956 and recorded in Volume 167, Page 374. THENCE with the cornmon line of the Schubert tract and the McTaggart tract the following three courses: 1. N50046' 08"E 216.04 feet to an iron rod found for the east corner of th~ Scpubert tract, 2. N39°10'27"W 208.51 feet to an iron rod found for the north corner of the Schubert tract, 3. S50049'33"W 208.51 feet to an ~2" iron rod set for the west corner of the Schubert tract in the northeast line of F.M. Highway No. 621; THENCE with the cornmon line of the highway and McTaggert tract N39°10'27"W 119.40 feet to an ~" iron rod set for the south corner of the aforereferenced Southwestern Bell Telephone Company tract; THENCE with the cornmon line of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company tract and the McTaggart tract the following two courses: 1. N52°12'14"E 114.QQ feet to a fence post for the east corner of the telephone company tract as fenced and used upon the ground, 2. N37° 32' 53"W 141.19 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. There are contained within these metes and bounds 57.67 acres be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas. SECTION 2. That the corporate limits of said city be, and the same are hereby, extended to include said described territory. SECTION 3. That said described territory shall henceforth be a part of the City of San Marcos, Texas and any inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of all citizens, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said City. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after final passage and publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
