/Od--A I 1 THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS -CITY OF SAN MARCOS I We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we did officially sign $12,000.00 CITY OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955, issued for the purpose of paying claims incurred in constructing street improvements in the City of San Marcos (being part of a total authorized issue of $40,000.00), dated April 15, 1955, Numbered 19 to 30, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on April 15th, $2,000 in 1973 and $10,000 in 1974; and that we were at the date of such signatures the duly chos~ qualified and acting officers indicated therein and authorized to execute the same. WE FURTHER CERTIFY that claims incurred in the construction of street improvements in the City of San Marcos have been duly audited and allowed and declared to be the lawful indebtedness of the City of San Marcos, and mid indebtedness has been evidenced by the issuance and del1veryto the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, the holder of$id claims, of CITY OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955, dated April 15, 1955, Numbered 19 to 30, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, aggregating $12,000.00, and that said City of San Marcos has received full value and consideration for said warrants Numbers 19 to 30, inclusive; and that the excess of $156.22, as shown by said claims, has been carried forward to the next exchange of claims for. warrants. I WE FURTHER CERTIFY that there is no litigation pending or threatened growing out of the issuance of said warrants or in any way affecting the titles of the within named officers to their respective offices.
