<br />"-' <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />/.3~ <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />On this the let day of Felllruary , 1956, the City <br />Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in regular <br />session at the regular meeting place, with the following members <br />present, to-wit~ <br /> <br />FrankE. Dietterich <br />Calvin M. Allen <br />Frank D. "rol. Jr. <br />Harold G. Saith <br />Coy De Viney <br />S. R. Beecroft <br />AM Zielllke <br />and the following absent: <br /> <br />, Mayor, <br /> <br />Aldermen, <br /> <br />, City Secretary, <br /> <br />NORe <br /> <br />constituting a quorum, and, among other business transacted, the <br />following resolution was adopted: <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />has heretofore on April 20, 1955, passed an ordinance authorizing <br />the issuance of CITY'OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, <br />SERIES OF 1955, dated April 15, 1955, Numbered 1 to 40, inclusive, <br />in the denomination of $1,000 each, aggregating $40,000.00, bear- <br />ing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing $10,000 on April <br />15th in each of the years 1972 to 1975, inclusive; all of which <br />warrants are now outstanding and unpaid; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it advisable <br />and to the best interest of said City to cancel the above <br />described outstanding warrants by the issuance of refunding bonds <br />in lieu thereof; and, <br />
