<br />. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Numbers 11 to 20, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, <br />aggregating $10,000.00, evidencing the indebtedness due by the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First National Bank, San <br />Marcos, Texas, as assignee of said claims; and that the excess of <br />$738.31, as shown by said list of claims, be carried forward to <br />the next exchange of claims for warrants. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos having received full value and <br />consideration for the warrants hereinabove described, tbe City <br />Treasurer is hereby authorized and instructed to register said <br />warrants, and after registration thereof, to deliver same to the <br />First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, City <br />Secretary and City Treasurer are hereby authorized to execute <br />such other and further instruments, certificates and statements <br />a6 shall be necessary, convenient or appropriate to reflect the <br />entire validity of said warrants. <br />IV. <br /> <br />Ey reason of the fact that the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />San Marcos, Texas, considers the passage of this ordinance <br />necessary for the general welfare of said City and of its <br />citizens, it is hereby declared to be an emergency measure demand- <br />ing that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more than <br />one meeting of the City Council be suspended, and that this <br />ordinance \ake effect immediately from and after its passage, <br />and it is so ordained. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this <br /> <br />, 1956. <br /> <br />ATTE.ST:.. #.... . . <br /> <br />~ . <br />
