<br />J <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />stations and purchasing sites therefor in said City, including <br />architect's fee in connection therewith, and purchasing fire <br />equipment for mid City; and, <br />WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Council on March <br />28, 1956, the Mayor was authorized, ordered and directed to <br />publish notice to bidders for the purchase of Two (2) Combination <br />Pumper and Booster Trucks and notice of intention of the City to <br />pay all or a part of the cost of such equipment by the issuance <br />and delivery of warrants out of the above described issue; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council affirmatively finds that said <br />notice to bidders was duly given by publication in a newspaper of <br />general circulation published in the City of San Marcos, in the <br />manner and for the time provided by law; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further affirmatively finds that <br />no petition of any kind or character in respect to said notice <br />to bidders and notice of intention to issue said warrants has been <br /> <br />filed, and the time during which such a petition could have been <br />filed has elapsed; and, <br />WHEREAS, said bids having been found to be in proper form <br />and order and accompanied by the required deposits, the City <br />Council now desires to award contract to the lowest and beat <br />bidder; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />That the bid <br /> <br />I. % <br />or ~";.-...J -:.c~-1;t). C. <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texa . t 0 (2) Oombination <br /> <br />for furnishing the <br /> <br />Pumper and Booster Trucks in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor, for the sum of $ A :.:1&1 t'J,3. 010 <br />, <br /> <br />, is hereby found <br /> <br />and determined to be the lowest and best bid received by the <br /> <br />City pursuant to notice to bidders given by the City for the pur- <br />chase of such fire fighting equipment. <br />
