<br />cease to bear interest from and after said date. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(NOTE TO PRINTER: Above option clause to go 1n Bonds <br />Nos. 178 to 350, inclusive.) <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that the issuance of <br /> <br />this bond, and the series of which it is.a part, is duly authori- <br />zed by law, and by a vote of the qualified property taxpaying <br />voters of said City of San Marcos, Texas, who owned taxable <br /> <br />property in the City and who had duly rendered the same for taxa- <br />tion, voting at an election held for that purpose on July 20, <br />1955, within said City; that all acts, conditions and things re- <br />quired to be done precedent to and in the issuance of this series <br />of bonds, and of this bond, have been properly done and performed <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />and have happened in regular and due time, formand manner as <br />required by law; that sufficient and proper provision for the <br />levy and collection of taxes has been made which when collected <br />shall be appropriated exclusively to.the payment of this bond, <br />and of the series of which it is a part, and to the payment of <br /> <br />the interest coupons hereto annexed as the same shall become due; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />and that the total indebtedness of said City of San Marcos, <br />including the entire series of bonds of which this is one, does <br />not exceed any constitutional or statutory limitation. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of San Marcos, Texas, by its <br />City Council has caused its corporate seal to be affixed hereto, <br />and this bond and its appurtenant coupons to be executed with the <br />imprinted facsimile signatures of its Mayor and City Secretary, <br />in accordance with the provisions of Article 717J, Vernon's <br />Civil Statutes of Texas, 1925, as amended.
