<br />I <br /> <br />I t <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WARRANTS, Numbers 29 to 42, inclusive, in the denomination of <br />$1,000 each, aggregating $14,000.00, evidencing the indebtedness <br />due by the City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First National Bank, <br />San Marcos, Texas, as assignee of said claims; and that the City <br />of San Marcos having received full value and consideration for <br />the warrants hereinabove described, the City Treasurer is hereby <br />authorized and instructed to register said warrants, and after <br />registration thereof, to deliver same to the First National Bank, <br />San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, City Secretary and City <br />Treasurer are hereby authorized to execute such other and further <br />instruments, certificates and statements as shall be necessary, <br />convenient or appropriate to reflect the entire validity of said <br /> <br />warrants. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />By reason of the ,fact that the City Council of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, considers the passage of this ordinance <br />necessary for the general welfare of said City, and of its <br />citizens, it is hereby declared to be an emergency measure demand- <br />ing that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more than <br />one meeting of the City Council be suspended, and that this <br />ordinance take effect immediately from and after its passage, <br />and it is so ordained. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this <br /> <br />of June, 1956. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />";~. <br />..-1.'<." .L,LLC.L,,--, .),j~" '"c,<!/ <br />, ' CITY 8EC~ RY <br /> <br />(CITY SEAL) <br /> <br />..... <br /> <br />,j <br />
