<br />)7)0" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />aggregating $23,000.00, evidencing the indebtedness due by the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First Nation~l Bank, San Marcos, <br />Texas, as assignee of said claims; and that the excess of $55.50, <br />as shown by said claims, be carried forward to the next exchange <br /> <br />of claims for warrants. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos having received full value and <br />consideration for the warrants hereinabove described, the City <br />Treasurer is hereby authorized, and instructed, to register said <br />warrants, and after registration thereof, to deliver same to the <br />First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, Pro Tern, <br />City Secretary and City Treasurer, are hereby authorized to <br />execute such other and further instruments, certificates and state- <br />ments as shall be necessary, convenient or appropriate to reflect <br />the entire validity of said warrants. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />By reason of the fact that the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />San Marcos, Texas, considers the passage of this ordinance necess- <br /> <br />ary for the general welfare of said City, and of its citizens, <br />it is hereby declared to be an emergency measure demanding. that <br />the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more than one meeting <br />of the city Council be suspended, and that this ordinance take <br />effect immediately from and after its passage, and it is so <br />ordained. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this lith day of October, 1956. <br /> <br /> <br />~YZ~}~,{!oXA~S' <br /> <br />.,AS <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />.JA.l'~4J j~~~ <br />TY S QJ RY <br /> <br />... <br />
