<br />I <br /> <br />:1 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />;-5d -T <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />We, the undersigned officas of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we did officially sign $12,000.00 CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, <br />1955, Numbered 74 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 <br />each, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on August <br />IS, 1977, being part of a total authorized issue of $85,000.00, <br />authorized by ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of <br />San Marcos on September 7, 1955, for the purpose of evidencing <br />the indebtedness of the City of San Marcos to be incurred in <br />constructing fire stations and purchasing sites therefor in said <br />City, including architect's fee in connection therewith, and <br />purchasing fire equipment for said City; and that we were at the <br />date of such signatures the duly chosen, qualified and acting <br />officers indicated therein and authorized to execute the same. <br />WE FURTHER CERTIFY that claims incurred in the construction <br />of ~ire stations, including architect's fee in connection there- <br />with, and purchasing fire equipment for said City, have been duly <br />audited and allowed and declared to be the lawful indebtedness of <br />the City of San Marcos, and said indebtedness has been evidenced <br />by the issuance and delivery to the First National Bank, San <br />Marcos, Texas, the hOlders of said claims, of CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, 1955, <br />Numbered 74 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, <br />aggregating $12,000.00, and that said City of San Marcos has <br />received full value and consideration for said Warrants Numbered <br />74 to 85, inclusive; and that the excess of $875.06,. as shown by <br />said claims, has been paid in cash by the City of San Marcos. <br />
