I :1 I ;-5d -T THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS CITY OF SAN MARCOS We, the undersigned officas of the City of San Marcos, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we did officially sign $12,000.00 CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, 1955, Numbered 74 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on August IS, 1977, being part of a total authorized issue of $85,000.00, authorized by ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of San Marcos on September 7, 1955, for the purpose of evidencing the indebtedness of the City of San Marcos to be incurred in constructing fire stations and purchasing sites therefor in said City, including architect's fee in connection therewith, and purchasing fire equipment for said City; and that we were at the date of such signatures the duly chosen, qualified and acting officers indicated therein and authorized to execute the same. WE FURTHER CERTIFY that claims incurred in the construction of ~ire stations, including architect's fee in connection there- with, and purchasing fire equipment for said City, have been duly audited and allowed and declared to be the lawful indebtedness of the City of San Marcos, and said indebtedness has been evidenced by the issuance and delivery to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, the hOlders of said claims, of CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, 1955, Numbered 74 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, aggregating $12,000.00, and that said City of San Marcos has received full value and consideration for said Warrants Numbered 74 to 85, inclusive; and that the excess of $875.06,. as shown by said claims, has been paid in cash by the City of San Marcos.
