Pollard, Executive Vice President of the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that said bank has received from - Calvin M. Allen, Mayor Pro Tern, Fredericka Hopkins, City Secretary, W. G. Barbee, City Treasurer, of the City of San Marcos, Texas, $12,000.00 CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, 1955, Numbered74 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on August 15, 1977. I FURTHER CERTIFY that said First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, is the owner and holder of certain claims or accounts aggregating $12,875.06, duly audited and allowed by ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of San Marcos on the ~ day of October, 1956, recorded in Book ~, page ~, et seq., of the Minutes of the City Council, and which ordinance contains a detailed description of said claims or accounts, and reference thereto is hereby made for a full, complete and accurate description of said claims or accounts. I FURTHER CERTIFY. that said First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, has delivered to the City Officials above named, said claims or accounts described in the aforesaid ordinance of the City Council, and which said claims or accounts are to be can- celled by said officials, the delivery of said claims or accounts being in lieu of the above mentioned $12,000.00 CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated August 15, 1955, received by said First National Bank from the City Officials above named.
