<br />~1- <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />In cases where unusual hardship ~f inequities will result by <br />following the terms and provisions of this ordinance or where <br />special consideration is requested for industrial users, the City <br />Council may be petitioned for relief or assistance; provided how- <br />ever, the person, firm or corporation desiring such relief, shall <br />file with the City Secretary in writing a detailed statement setting <br />forth the circumstances whereby relief should be granted from the <br />directives of this ordinance. The said petition shall be filed in <br />triplicate, shall be verified, and shall be accompanied by a map <br />or plat and plans and specifications fully showing such circumstances. <br />The petition shall remain on file with the City Clerk not less <br />than thirty (3D) days before the City Council shall consider the <br />same. Upon filing of such petition, the Clerk shall immediately call <br />the attention of the Mayor of such filing. The Mayor shall designate <br />a time and day for the City Council to hear such petition and the City <br />Secretary Shall notify the petitioner in writing of the time and date <br />of such hearing. <br /> <br />24 <br />
