<br />Section 4. Each and every provi-
<br />sion, paragraph, sentence and
<br />clause of this ordinance has -been
<br />separately considered and passed
<br />by the City Council and each said
<br />provision would have been ,sepa-
<br />rately passed without any other
<br />vision, and if any provision there-
<br />of should be ineffective, invalid or
<br />unconstitutional for, any cause, it
<br />shall not impair or affect the re-
<br />maining portion or any other, part
<br />thereof, but the vaHd _pOrtion shall
<br />be enforced just as if, it had been
<br />passed alone, and aU ordinam;es
<br />or resolutions or parts thereof in
<br />conflict herewith are hereby re-
<br />pealed insofar '~s- they conflict with
<br />this ordinance.

<br />Section 5. This ordinance shall be
<br />in_ full force and effect on' and at.
<br />ter its adoption and pubiication - as
<br />provided by law and shall continue
<br />in effect until rescinded by the City
<br />Council of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas.
<br />
<br />It was thereupon moved by Alder-
<br />man Hillburn and seconded by Al-
<br />derman Davis that the above 0['-
<br />dinance be passed. The mayor then
<br />and thereupon put the question,
<br />and, there bei~g no dissenting vote,
<br />the mayor thereupon declared said
<br />ordinance duly passed, and, order-
<br />ed_ same entel'ed in the minutes of
<br />the City Council. And the mayor,
<br />with unanimous consent, of. the
<br />City Council, further ,ordered said
<br />ordinance published as is required
<br />by law.
<br />This the 25 day of June, 1957.
