Beecroft made a mot:i.on to ac~ept with reluctance the <br />resignation. Mr. Hillburn seconded the motion. A vote was taken ~lIihich resulted <br />unanimously in favor of the motion. <br /> <br />A repres~!"rtative from the Chamber of COlnrnerce suggested for Camp Gary <br />fqpreciation'''to be held on "uly 20th be free parking meter day. Mr. Hillburn <br />made a motion to permit free parking on Camp Gary Appreciation Day. For want <br />of a second to his. motion he withdrew the motion. <br /> <br />It was brought to the attention of the Council the re-appointment of two <br />persons to act as C:oJY1iT1issioner5 of the Housing Authorl ty for a term of two <br />years. !dr. Hillburn made the motion to re-appoint L. F. if.artin and Joe <br />:\odriguez as Commissioners of the Housing Authority fcn a term of two years <br />beginning be 8th day of August 1957 to 7th day of August 1959. i...lr. Steakley <br />seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor of <br />ine motion. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Hillburn made a motion to confirm the employment of Mr. B. R. Fuller <br />at $10,000.00 ?er year and with a car furnished. His official title be that <br />or uCi ty Iv\anagerlt. Mr. Davis seconded the motion.
