4 I , L _ __ __ _ _ ORDER FOR CITY OFFICERS' ELECTION )<jl- C/ THE STATE OF TEXAS 0 COUNTY OF HAYS I CITY OF SAN MARCOS I I, Calvin M. Allen, in my capacity as Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, do hereby order that an election be held in said City on the 1st day of April, 1958, for the purpose of electing the following officials for said City: Three Alderman That in accordance with an order adopted by the City Council of said City, said election shall be held at the following places in said City, and the following named persons are hereby appointed officers for said election. In Election Precinct No. 10, at the City Library Building, in said City: Presiding Judge Assistant Judge Marion McGee W. H. Tiner In Election Precinct No. 11, at H. U. Miles Company, 312 W. San Antonio, in said City; Presiding Judge Assistant Judge Francis Mercer' Miss Lola Petty In Election Precinct No. 12, at the County Court House, in said City, with: Presiding Judge Assistant Judge H. Garland Stokes Gel!. C. Reed In Election Precinct No. 13, at the City Hall Building, in said city: Presiding Judge Assistant Judge Dare Williams Mrs. W. E. Turner That said election shall be held in accordance with the Election Code of this state and only resident qualified voters of said City shall be eligible to vote at said election. That the City Secretary shall give notice of said election by posting a copy of this order in each of the election precincts of said City, which posting shall be done not less than thirty (30) days prior to date fixed for said election. That immediately after said election, is held, the officers holding the same shall make returns of the result thereof to the City Council of this City as required by the Election Code of this state.
