l2"~A TERRY L. uACKS ATTORNEY AT LAW SAN MARCOs,TEXAS April 22, 1958 The City Council San Marcos, Texas I Gentlemen: Miss Elizabeth Huffmeyer and Walter Huffmeyer have acquired title to and are the owners of all the lots in the addition known as "Zack Williamson Addition to San Marcos, Texas", which map or plat and deed of dedication, dated August 22, 1908, is recorded in Volume 53 at page 392- 393 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas. The addition is outside of but within three miles of the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos. The dimensions of the lots are 35 feet wide and 50 feet deep and the streets are 30 feet wide. A copy of the map or plat is attached for your information. I It is my understanding that the lots were never' occupied as lots and the str'eets were never used or maintained but have been held under fence for many years by Elizabeth HUffmeyer and Walter HUffmeyer. A judgment establishing title in Elizabeth Huffmeyer and Walter HUffmeyer has been entered by the 155th Judicial District Court of Ha;:ls County, Texas, and a copy of that judgment is attached. Also, all taxes on the property have been paid as evidenced by tax certificates at- tached hereto. It is the desire of the owners of the property to vacate the plat or plan as provided by Article 973a, Sec. 5, RCS. The instrument vacating such Plat or plan is attached for your consideration. If you need further information or desire a personal appearance before your body, please let me know. If you can approve the vacation of such plat I be- lieve that it will relieve the city of San Marcos of an un- desirable addition and will be appreciated by me and the owners of the property. ..
