<br />AN OHDINANCE PROVIDING FOR BORHO:VING ~fcONEY AND ISSUING OF
<br />CURRENT EXPENSE WARRANTS TO THE A~OUNT OF $30,000.00 FOR
<br />THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSES DURING THE
<br />FISOAL YEAH 1959-60; PROVILlING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE
<br />PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST OF SAID 'liARHANIS

<br />Whereas, it is necessary in carrying on the business of the City
<br />during the fiscal yeaT 1959-1960 to borrow money faT the purpose of paying
<br />current operating expenses; and
<br />
<br />Nhereas, it has been ascertained 2nd determined by this Governing
<br />Body '~hat the most practicable and satisfactory method of borrowing money
<br />for the said purpose is to issue CUTT(3nt expense tirne vlar:rants;
<br />
<br />NOi., THEREFORE, BE n ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNIN:; BODY OF THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MAP.CO:;, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />1. That theTe be borrowed by, for and on behalf of the City of San
<br />MaI'cos, funds to the maXimUjil extent of $30~OOO.OD, and that to evidence such
<br />indebtedness current expense warrants of the city be issued.
<br />

<br />EXPENSE WARnANTS, 1959-1960," be da"ced July 6, 1959, be thiTty (30) in
<br />number, numbe:red, consecutively, from one (1) to thirty (30), i~clusive,
<br />be of the de:lOmination of .11,000.00 each, all of said v~arrants to mature on
<br />or berore January 15, 1960, bearing interest at the rate or four per cent (4%)
<br />per ~nnum from the date of delivery until paid, ~oth principal and interest
<br />payable on Or before January 15, 1960. The seal of the City shall be affixed
<br />to each of said bonds and shall be signed by the Mayor, be attestEd by the
<br />City Secz"etal'Y and registered by the C~ty Treasurer. Said warrants shall be
<br />payable to bearer.
