<br />1 \ \ <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 2. 1959 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />On the 2nd day of November, 1959, at 2 o'clock P.M., the Governing <br />Body of the City of San Marcos met in Special Session, Mayor C. M. Allen <br />presiding: <br /> <br />Present: Mayor C. M. Allen <br />AldeL~en: S. R. Beecroft <br />"'I. M. Davis <br />B. D. Hillburn <br />Herman Korff <br />James Tuttle <br />City Manager B. R. Fuller <br />Deputy City Secretary Fritzie Turner <br />Guest: Walter Buckner, San Marcos RECORD <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order and, as a full quorum Was <br />present, announced that the meeting was called to receive and discuss <br />the report of the valuation of right-of-way requirements for the <br />widening of RM 12 (Moore Street). <br /> <br />The Report, signed by Mr. R. C. Wilson, Alex B. Kercheville and <br />E. R. Gulledge, was presented and carefully considered by the Council. <br />It was determined that, through error, the name of Mary Lee Paul, <br />owner of Pt. Lot 10, Block 8, Lindsey and Harvey addition, had been <br />omitted from the report. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Tuttle made a motion that the report be accepted and <br />that the property owners be offered the sums, as indicated on the <br />report, for the property required for the additional right-of-way <br />and that Mary Lee Paul be offered the sum of $84.00, this having <br />been the amount fixed by the Board for like and adjoining property; <br />the total amounting to $5,408.00. This motion was seconded by <br />Alderman Hil1burn, and upon roll call the ayes and nays were as <br />fo llows: <br /> <br />Ayes: Beecroft <br />Davis <br />Hi llburn <br />Korff <br />Tuttle <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />Whereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and directed the <br />City Man?ger to immediately notify the property owners of the action <br />taken. <br /> <br />Alderman Hillburn made a motion that each of the three members of <br />the Board be written a letter of appreciation for their work and a check <br />in the amount of $25.00 each be enclosed to cover expenses for the services <br />rendered the property owners and the City. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />There being no further business the meeting, on motion, adjourned at <br />2:45 P.M. <br /> <br />1:'. <br />'\. ,! / t\ <br />- II:,., \ <br />C.
