I , I "",' That the house and outbuildings upon said property have been determined, by the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to be in sUch state as to constitute a nuisance and a menace to the health and ufety of the citiZens of said City in that the same 1s unsafe. con- stitutes a fire hazard, and is liable to fall down and endanger persons or property. That those persons subject to notice c.ontained in paragraphoneherein are heraby notitiedand required to appear before the Governins Body of the said City within 10 days after lmailing or publ1cationwnichever is appropriate) hereof to shot/CBuse why such building Ilbouldnot be destroyed at the expense of the owner or owners of said property under ordinance of s~dCity of San Marcos enacted .the ,', 'I. day of.;>, 1960. .. -) Sec. 3. In the a bSenoe of such a ppearance to show 08 use, said buildings are to be forthwith destroyed under the super- vision of the City Building Inspec~or. In the carrying out of this directive, after. destruction of said buildings, all usable building material shall be stacked on aaid property,. but such lumber and debris cClnstituting a fire hazard Ilhall be removed from the area. Sec. 4. After the accompl1shmentof the directive con- tained herein .in Section 3. the City Bul1dlng Inspeotor shall submit a detailed repo1"t of expense of $uch aotion andsuoh expense is to be assessed against the land on which the.:ss1d buildings stood, the record owner or owners of such land being notified of such assessment by registered mail directed to the last laiown address ofsuoh O\>lneror owners. Sec. 5. The fact that the oondition of said buildings constitutes a menace to the inhabitants of the City as set forth in.
