The Unit would
be housed temporarily in the County Courthouse building.

Prices for reflectorized materials for the proposed
street name signs to he erected were submitted to the Council.
Upon motion of Alderman Korff, seconded by Alderman Tuttle, and
carried, the City Manager was authorized to purchase the mater-
ials at an estimated price of $539.25. This does not include
posts, brackets, blanks or labor for erecting the signs.

I

The Council entered into a discussion of the possibility
of salvaging the Firemen's Pension Fund and the merits of H. B. 73.
After a lengthy discussion the City Manager was directed to write
a letter setting forth the problems in connection with the Pension
Fund and H. B. 73. This letter would be discussed by Alderman
Sutton at the next Volunteer Firemen's meeting. It was suggested
that the Volunteer Firemen send a committee to discuss the matter
with the Council and also to work with the City Manager in arriving
at a satisfactory solution .to the retirement problem.

There being no further business, the Council, on motion,
adjourned at 3130 p.m.

/
/\ .1 ,', -', f' II I
( I" /;/.?"\ t"\ ' /~- .I" ! ..
,,-' ,/ / \ '.)' v) )' J /V\ /
C.
