<br />ADJOURNED MEETI NG HElD ON MARCH 21. 1961 <br /> <br />On the 21st day of March at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, <br />the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos met in Adjourned <br />Session in the City Hall, Mayor C. M. Allen presiding. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Present: Mayor C. M. Allen <br />Aldermen: S. R. Beecroft <br />B. D. Hillburn <br />Herman Korff <br />Kenneth Sutton <br />James Tuttle <br />City Manager B. R. Fuller <br /> <br />Guest; <br /> <br />Charles Allen, Allen Motor Company <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the Mayor who explained <br />that the regular meeting of March 14th had been adjourned to permit <br />the Council to open bids on a motor vehicle for the use of the City <br />Manager, as he had transferred the vehicle he was using to the <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />There were two bids received and after careful considera- <br />tion of the qualities of the cars bid upon, Alderman Hillburn made <br />a motion that the low bid of the Allen Motor Company in the net <br />amount of $2,133.00. The motion was seconded by Alderman Korff and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />After a review of the informal bids received on radio <br />equipment, it was the unanimous decision of the Council that the bid <br />of the General Electric Corporation in the amount of $447.50 for a <br />three-way radio, transistor power supply, be accepted. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting, on motion, <br />adjourned at 2:25 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />; <br /> <br />yJ <br /> <br />". <br /> <br /> <br />~-~ <br />B.
