". <br />\ ~ -~ <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF TRAVIS <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I, in my capacity as District Engineer for the Texas Highway <br />Department of the State of Texa~hereby request the City of San Marcos <br />to annex into its corporate limits the following described strip of <br />land, said strip of land not exceeding one-half (1/2) mile in width, <br />being contiguous and adjacent to the present boundary line of the City <br />of San Marcos, and being vacant and without residents: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point in the present San Marcos City Limits, <br />said point being at the intersection of the east right of <br />way line of the proposed location of Interstate Highway 35 <br />with the north right of way line of the Missouri-Kansas <br />and Texas Railroad, said point also being approximately <br />76.2 feet North 830 04' West of an east corner of the said <br />present San Marcos City Limits in the said north right of <br />way line the Missouri-Kansas and Texas Railroad; <br /> <br />THENCE North 830 04' West, with the present San Marcos <br />City Limts along the north right of way line of the said <br />Missouri-Kansas and Texas Railroad, crossing the reference <br />line of the proposed location of Interstate Highway 35 at <br />Survey Station 849121.6 thereof, and continuing, same bear- <br />ing, a distance of 850.6 feet to an inside corner of the <br />present San Marcos City Limits at the intersection of the <br />west right of way line of the existing location of U. S. <br />Highway 81 with the said north right of way line of the <br />Missouri-Kansas and Texas Railroad; <br /> <br />THENCE in a northeasterly direction, with the present <br />San Marcos ewty Limits, along the west right of way line <br />of said existing location of U. S.
