4M' l~b THE STATE OF TEXAS * * COUNTY OF HAYS * KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT WHEREAS, Ross Terry, Attorney at Law, whose address is 612 Littlefield Building, Austin, Texas, is now employed by the City of San Marcos to enforce by suit or otherwise the collection of all delinquent taxes of said City; and, I WHEREAS, the 0arties to said contract deem it mutually advantageous that the contract be extended and continued in force for an additional one (1) year period; NOW, THEREFORE, this agreement WITNESSETH: That all of the provisions of the original contract dated May 13, 1958 shall remain in full force and effect for the period beginning May 14, 1962 and ending May 13, 1963 except the first sentence of Section7 of the original contract which is hereby amended to read as follows. "7. This Contract shall be in force from the day of execution hereof as the same appears in the last paragraph to the date of May 13, 1963, both dates inclusive, and at the expiration of said period this Contract shall terminate and be ended; provided that Second Party shall be allowed the additional period of six (6) months in which to prosecute to judgments in the trial court, suits by him filed prior to said date of termination 'of the Contract, May 13, 1963, and to handle to conclusion, within such six-month period immediately following the termination date aforesaid, all suits in which trial court judgments shall have been obtained by him prior to such termination date and which judgments shall have been appealed by either party thereto." WITNESS THE SIGNATURES of all parties hereto in duplicate originals, this 8th day of May , 1962, in Hays County, Texas, wherein each and every element and obligation of this Contract shall be performed.
