<br />San Mareo., rex., Apr. i;, 1962. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />The members of the Sociedad Cuauhtemoc at their regular session <br /> <br /> <br />a6~eeded unanimausly to inform you of the forth coming opening of their <br /> <br /> <br />activities for 1962. Like always, they are hoping to have the considerations <br /> <br /> <br />and faclities of this council and its officials. <br /> <br /> <br />In the past we have been some what oppressed and with few opportunities <br /> <br /> <br />for the development of this worthy Society; who's entire efforts are <br /> <br /> <br />directed toward the pro~ress of this community; without anyone person <br /> <br /> <br />obtaining self benefits or interests, as our work is to help and to <br /> <br /> <br />co-operate in everything and for everything in the needs of our own <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />community. Therefore, we expect more liberality from the city and its <br /> <br /> <br />officials for the best development of our social activities. <br /> <br />It is re~rettable that in three years and since the new regulations <br /> <br /> <br />of the city; that which restricted us from having any social activities <br /> <br /> <br />on Sundays, our organization has been cut short of great benefits. <br /> <br /> <br />Nevertheless, we have continued to follow and respect you regulations and <br /> <br />have scheduled our activities to that regulation. Now, we believe it <br /> <br /> <br />opportune to ask for better support from the authorities of this city. <br /> <br /> <br />Because of the objection to the noise created by our activities <br /> <br /> <br />held on Sunday, the Sociedad "Cuauhtemoc" has begun a program of progress <br /> <br />to eliminate the problem of disturbances to the town people outside of <br /> <br />our park, and has had a pavilion installed at our park.
