-4- WHEREAS, tne Governing Body is cognizant of the conditions that are imposed in tne undertaking and carrying out of the Urban Renewai Project with Federal financial assistance under Title I, including those prohibiting discrimination because of race, color or creed, or nationai origin: ss NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY Of San Marcos, Texas: 1/ , Y 1. That it Is hereby found and determined that the Project is a slum &, blighted area and qualifies as an eligible project under Section 1269-1-3, VATS; 2. That said Urban Renewal Plan for the Project' afore- mentioned, having been duly reviewed and considered, is hereby approved, and the City Secretary be and Is hereby directed to file said copy of said Urban Renewal Plan with the minutes of this meeting. 3. That it II hereby found and determined that said Urben Renewal Plan for the Project area conforms to eaid general plan of the Locality. 4.
