<br />""1(0 <br />&-ibC, <br /> <br />regular meeting <br /> <br />september 9, 1963 page two <br /> <br />The Council approved the City Manager's request for permission <br />to attend an Institute on Planning and Zoning at Southern <br />Methodist University, Dallas, Sept. 26-28. Alderman Ruiz <br />requested that Mr. Fuller bring back a full report on the <br />Institute. <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />Alderman Ruiz reminded Councilmen that it had been agreed that <br />each Alderman would bring a list of City projects he considered <br />should have priority in the coming months. He asked the City: <br />Manager when the College Courts sewet would be completed, and <br />when work could be resumed on the Wallace Addition. The City <br />Manager said work on College Courts sewer was about 95% <br />complete, and that work should be started on the Wallace <br />Addition the latter part of the following week. Mr. Ryiz suggest- <br />ed the date of "not later than Monday, Sept. 16", and Mr. Fuller <br />agreed. other items on Mr. Ruiz' priority list werel <br />Traffic islands on the Square, Fall Paving Program and Oak Heights <br />Water Line. Alderman Ruiz moved that no other major project be <br />undertaken by the City Manager until after the Wallace Addition <br />project is completed. Alderman Stokes seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Moore enquired whether anything had been done to control <br />the odor at the Lift Station following Mrs. Bingham's complaint. <br />The City Manager explained that the representative who sells the <br />chemical to control odor had been consulted.
