<br />Alderman Stokes introduced a Resolution accepting the State
<br />Highway Commission's proposals, as set forth in Minute Order
<br />No, 53&46, and moved its approvab. The Resolution, attached
<br />here as a part of the Minutes, was read in full. Alderman Ruiz
<br />seconded the motion of approval, and on roll call, the following
<br />vote was recorded;
<br />
<br />AYE; Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes
<br />NAY, None
<br />
<br />Whereupon, the Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved.

<br />Alderman StokesffiOved that, as the City was not staffed or equip-
<br />ped to properly administer acquisition of right-of-way, the City
<br />Manager contact Mr. Ed Bluestein, District 14 Engineer, Texas
<br />Highway Department, and request that the Highway Department
<br />include, as part of the preliminary work contemplated under
<br />Minute Order No. 53846, the determination of the right-of-way
<br />required, its appraisal and acquisition; the cost of this work
<br />to be included in the City's portion of the Project cost.
<br />Alderman Ruiz seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 3;00 p,m.
