Texas, convened in <br /> <br />regular <br /> <br />session at <br /> <br />the regular meeting place thereof with the following members present, to-wit: <br /> <br />Frar:k Taylor <br />Wm. L. Moore, M.D. <br /> <br />, Mayor, <br /> <br />William C. Pool <br /> <br />, Alderman/lO'IWl8ll~J <br />. A1derman/iliiifal8ll~* <br /> <br />Ruben Ruiz <br /> <br />, Alderman2 <br /> <br />H. Worrell <br /> <br />, City Secretary/~ <br /> <br />and the following absent: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />. constituting a quorum, and <br /> <br />among other proceedings had were the following: <br /> <br />A1dermanhBODlJm=mllRIllX'x S'tok..s <br /> <br />introduced a resolution and order <br /> <br />and moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by A1dermaniSlJoolmi.MiJl~ Pool <br /> <br />and the motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution and order prevailed by the following vote, <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />The resolution and order are as follows: <br /> <br />Whereas the laws of the State of Texas provide that the next ensuing first Tuesday in April, there 8hall <br /> <br />be elected the following officials for this city: <br /> <br />,I <br /> <br />Three (3) <br />(Numbe!' or) <br /> <br />I\lderman 2 <br /> <br />~!t <br />~xWm~ <br /> <br />Whereas the laws of the State of Texas further provide that the Election Code of the State of Texas is <br /> <br />applicable to said election, and in order to comply with said Code, an order should be passed establishing <br /> <br />the procedure to be followed in said election, and designating the voting place for said election. <br />
