I q~ STATE OF TEXAS) COUNTY OF HAYS) I WHEREAS, the undersigned owner of a strip of land contiguous and adjacent to the present boundary line of the City of San Marcos, Texes, said strip of land not exceeding one-half 0/2) mile In width and further being vacant and without residents, In accordance with Section 974g of VATS, hereby petitions the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of land within its corporate limit's thatlt m~yreceive all the benefits and privi1eges of being a part of the City of San Marcos. Texas; and, WHEREAS, a map of the area 15 attached hereto, and marked as Ex- hibit "An, the said strip of land being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 21, Block 5, Oak Heights Addition, same being the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 5 of. said Addition, and being in the north city limit line of the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, " I THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction along the common line between Lots 3 and 4 of Block 5, Oak Heights Addition to a point in the South right-of-way line of EllIe Dr. taid point being the Northwest corner of Lot 4; and, THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction along the South right-of-way line of Dale Dr., a distance of 107.5' to a point, which point Is the center of Lot 5 of Block 5; and, THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction across Lot 5 to a pOint In the common line between Lots 5 and 20 of Block 5; and, THENCE, In a Southwesterly direction along the common line between Lots 5 and 20, 4 and 21 of Block 5, same being the North city limit line of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to a point which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 21, Block 5 and the place of BEGINNING.
