Garland Stokes I City Manager City Secretary B. R. Fuller Dorothy O. Worrell Visitors; Mrs. Jerri Veidt, Tom Buckner, Wray Weddell, jr., Sam Kindrick, John Morales, Hugh Meredith, Jim Carney, Vance Winn, Mrs. Frank W. Duncan, Mrs. Jack Wood, Elwood Soechting, Bob Scott and others The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Alderman Stokes moved the approval of the December, 1963, and January, 1964, Minutes, as presented. Alderman Ruiz seconded the motion and on roll call, the foll owing vote wa s recorded; AYE: Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes NAY, None The Mayor declared the motion carried and the Minutes approved. I Alderman Moore moved that the Milligan Estate Petition for Annexation be accepted. Alderman Pool seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded; AYE: Moore, PooL, Ruiz, Stokes NAY, None The Mayor declared the petition officially received. Alderman Pool moved that S.H. Leggitt be appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill the unexpired term of Charles Barsotti. Alderman Stokes seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded; AYE: Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried and Mr. Leggitt appointed. Alderman Stokes moved that the City Manager's recommendation on acquisition of a pick-up truck on a rental-purchase plan be accepted. Alderman Pool seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Moore, PooL, Ruiz, Stokes NAY: None I Whereupon, the Mayor declared the motion passed, and the City Manager authorized to take bids on a new pick-up truck as recommended. c.c ....-' ""- ;>-i :; ! !~-...," !HiZ
