{f- ( :1 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS I WHEREAS, the undersigned owner of a strip of land c.ontiguaus and adjacent to the present boundary line .of the City .of San Marcas, Texas, said strip of land not exceeding one-half 0/2) mile in width and further being vacant and without residents, in accordance with Sectian 974g .of VATS, hereby petitions the Gaverning Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of land within Its corporate limits that it may receive all the benefits and privileges of being a part of the City of San Marcos, Tel<a s. and, WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as Ex- hibit "An. the said stripef land being more particularly described by me,tes and baunds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southeast right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35, said point being at right angles from Station 806 + 27 according to right-of-way map of Federal Project. I 35 1(26)204 and being a pbint in the city limit line of the City .of San Marcas.Texas; and, THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction along a fence I1ne, a distance .of 335' tell point; and, THENCE, at right angles ta theaf.oresaid Une, a dis- tance of 75' to a point; and, THENCE. in a northwesterly direction alone} a line parallel to, and 75' from the original line, to a point in the eMt right-of-way of Uhland Road; and, 0" THENCE, in a Southwesterly directian along the said right-of-way (being the city limit line of the GUy of San Marcos) to the place of BEGINNING, containing .57 Ilcres, more.or less.
