<br />~ <br /> <br />tGI <br /> <br />This Warrant is ane of a series of fifty (50) warrants, numbered, consecutively, <br />from one (I) to fifty (50), both inclusive of the denomination of ONE THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS, ($1,000.00) each, oggregating Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) <br />issued for the purpose of praviding funds for current expenses incurred during the <br />current fiscol year of said City of San Marcos, said fiscal year beginning on <br />July 1, 1964, and ending on June 30, 1965. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />It is hereby certified, recited, and represented thot all octs, conditions <br />ond lt1ings necessary to be done precedent to and in the issuance of this warrant <br />have been properly done, have happened, and been performed in regular and <br />due time, form, ond manner, as required by law; that the faith and credit of <br />said City are hereby irrevocably pledged for the prompt payment of the principal <br />and interest of this warrant at maturity; that due provision has been made for <br />levying and collecting by taxation during the current year 0 sufficient amount to <br />pay the principal and interest on this warrant at maturity; and the issue of warralts, <br />of which this is one, together with all other indebtedness of said City, is within <br />every debt and other limit prescribed by the Comtitution and Laws of the State <br />of Texas. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Aldermen of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, has caused the seal of said City to be hereto affixed and this warrant <br />to be signed by the Mayor, countersigned by the City Secretary, and registered <br />by the City Treasurer. That the principal and interest of each of said warrants be paid out <br />of current revenues for the fiscal year 1964-65. <br /> <br />5.
