;1 I I ,gS TIlE STATE OF TEXAS X THE COUNTY OF HAYS X this the 31st day of THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into on August , 1964, by and between The City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation located in the County of Hays, State of Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, Prank Taylor, hereunto duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as the "CITY": and, S.R. FULLER, an individual, of the City of San Marcos, County of Hays, Texas, herein- after referred to as "CITY MANAGER-PIANNER": WITNESSETH: 1. The CITY is desirous of entering into a contract utilizing the personal services of the CITY MANAGER-PLANNER, and this contract is mutually acceptable and agreeable to both parties subject to the conditions and stipu~ationsset forth in the following sections. 2. The duration of this contract for service of the .CITY MANAGER-PIANNER shall begin on the 1st day of July, 1964, and shall terminate on the 30th day of June, 1966. This contract may be ex- tended for an additionaJ period of two (2) years and will be so extended automatically for an additional two (2) years at the end of the .first two-year period unless prior written notice to the contrary shall have been given by either party at least four (4) months. in advance of the end of the first two- year period. 3. The employment by the CITy of the CITY MANAGER- PLANNER contemplated nerein shall consist of his rendering services in the administrative supervision of the management and fiscal affairs. of the CITY and also of the planning and programming of effective development of the CIty.
