<br />,] <br /> <br />I q 7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY <br />ADJOINING THE CITY liMITS OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, INTO SAID CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of q strip of 'qnd, sqid strip of Iqnd <br />not exceeding one-hqlf (i) mi Ie in width, being contiguous <br />qnd adjacent to the present residents, qualified to vote for <br />members of the State legislature, has petitioned the City of <br />San Mqrcos to annex said strip of land within its municipal <br />limits, a copy of said petition being hereto qttached, marked <br />Exhibit NAN and made a part hereof for all pertinent purposes; <br />qnd, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it will be of signal qdvantage to the City of San <br />Marcos to annex said strip of land within its municIpal limits; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City <br />of Sqn Marcos, Texas, thqt the said strip of land, hereinqfter <br />described by metes qnd bounds, be and the same is hereby <br />received as a part of the City of San Marcos, qnd the corporate <br />limits of the City of San Marcos are hereby extended so as to <br />include said strip of land, and from penceforth the territory <br />so reveived and annexed shal I be a part of the City of <br />Sqn Mqrcos, qnd shall be bound by the qcts and ordinances of <br />said City in accordance with law. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SAID STRIP OF lAND is described by metes and bounds as follows: <br /> <br />lots Nos. Two Hundred Seven (207), Two Hundred Eight (208), <br />Two Hundred Nine (209), Two Hundred Ten (210), Two Hundred <br />Eleven (211), Two Hundred Twelve (2121), Two Hundred Forty- <br />Three (243), Two Hundred Forty-Four (244), Two Hundred <br />Forty-Five (245), Two Hundred Forty-Six (246), Two Hundred <br />Forty-Seven (247), and Two Hundred Forty-Eight (248) of the <br />Z.
