<br />WHEREAS, the undersigned owner of 0 strip of land contiguous and
<br />adiacentto the present boundary line of the City of Son Marcos, Texas, said strip of
<br />land not exceeding one-half (1/2) mile in width and further being vacant and without
<br />residents, in accordance with Section 974g of V. A. T.S., hereby petitions the Governing
<br />Body of the City of Son Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of land within its corporate
<br />limits that it may receive 011 the benefits and privileges of being 0 part of the City of
<br />Son Marcos, Texas, and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, 0 map of the area is attached hereto ond marked as
<br />Exhibit II A", the said strip of land being more particularly described by metes and
<br />bounds as fall ows:

<br />BEGINNING at an iron pipe in the Southwest line of
<br />Austin Street, set for the east corner of the Lea E. Brown
<br />3.12 acre tract and for the north corner of 0 one-half acre
<br />tract, an iron pipe as called for in Vol. II, Page 201,
<br />Private Survey Records of Hays County, Texas.

<br />THENCE, with the southwest line of Austin Street,
<br />N 460 33' W 332 feet to an iron pipe set for the north
<br />corner of sa id 3. 12 acre tract, and far the narth carner
