<br />adjacent to the present boun(iary line of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, said. strip of land nO,f<exceeding one-half (1/2) mile in
<br />width and further being vac'a.ht and without residents, in accord-
<br />ance with Section 974g of<'lATS, hereby petitions the Governing
<br />Body of the City of San-Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of
<br />land within Its corporate limits that it may receive all the benefits
<br />and privileges of being a part of the City of San Marcos; Texas;
<br />and,
<br />WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked
<br />as Exhibit "A", the said strip of land being more particularly
<br />described by metes and bounds as follows:

<br />BEGINNING at a point in the City Limit line of the
<br />City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which
<br />point is the most Southerly corner of Lot 91 of the
<br />Third Addition Park Addition to the City of San
<br />Marcos, Hays Cqunty, Texas, according to the
<br />plat of said subdivision recorded in Vol. 56, po 47,
<br />Deed Records of Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />THENCE, N. 43039' E. alongtheS.E. line of said
<br />Lot 91 a distance of 170.0 feet to a point, which
<br />point is the most Easterly corner of said Lot 91
<br />and the most Southerly corner of Lot 90 of said
<br />Addition; and,
<br />
<br />THENCE, N. 45021' W. with the common line of
<br />said Lots 90 and 91, a distance of 92.5 feet to a
<br />point. which point is the most Westerly corner of
<br />said lot 90; and,
<br />
<br />THENCE, N. 43039' E. with the common line of
<br />Lot 89 and 90 a distance of. 55.0 feet to a point
<br />in said common line; and,
