<br />,eJl <br />./ { <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A RECORDER OF THE <br />CORPORATION COURT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />SECRETARY TO APPOINT A DEPUTY SECRETARY <br />WHO SHALL BE EX-OFFICIO CLERK OF SAID COURT; <br />FIXING THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE, COMPENSATION, <br />AND DUn ES <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. In accordance with Article 1198, VCS, there <br />is hereby created the office of Recorder of <br />the Corporation Court of San Marcos, Texas, <br />and Dr. Ben A. Copass is hereby named to <br />that office. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. In accordance with Article 1200 VCS, the <br />City Secretary is hereby authorized to <br />appoint a deputy secretary, who shal I be <br />ex-officio clerk of the corporation court <br />and shal I perform such other duties as may <br />be imposed by said Article 1200. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The recorder and deputy shal I hold office <br />as provided by law, unless he shal I resign <br />or be otherwise removed.
