<br />~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />,jll <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the undersigned owner of a strip of land contiguous <br />and adjacent to the present boundary line of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, said strip of land not exceeding one-half (1/2) mile in width <br />and ~~ther being vacant and without residents, in accordance with <br />Section 974g of VATS, hereby petitions the Governing Body of the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of land within its <br />corporate limits that it may receive all the benefits and privileges <br />of being a part of the City of 'San Marcos, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as <br />"Exhibit A", the said strip of land being more particularly described <br />by metes and bounds as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of a 4.52 acre tract <br />conveyed to Milton B. Clapp by deed recorded in Volume <br />209, Page 547-550 of said Deed Records, same being also an <br />angle,point in the southeasterly boundary of a tract described <br />in Volume 184, Page 504 of said Hays County Deed Records; <br /> <br />THENCE N 560 25' E, with said southeasterly boundary, 94.70 <br />feet to an iron pipe found; <br /> <br />THENCE S 450 56' E, a distance of 184.20 feet to an iron <br />pipe found; <br /> <br />THENCE S 580 55' W, a distance of 141.01 feet to an iron <br />pipe found; <br /> <br />THENCE N 310 21' W, along an easterly boundary of said 4.52 <br />acre tract at 10.00 feet an iron pin found and continuing <br />a total distance of 174.00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />~ b oo~ <br /> <br />M.
