1,-, ","oS STATE OF TEXAS I COUNTY OF HAYS I WHEREAS, the undersigned owner af a strip of land contiguous and adjacent ta the present boundary line of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said strip of land not exceeding ane-half <t> mile in width and further being vacant and with- out residents, in accordance with Sectian 974g of VATS, hereby petitions the Gaverning Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to accept said strip of land within its corporate limits that it may receive all the benefits and privileges of being a part af the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, I WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit '~", the said strip of land being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING for reference at an iron pipe, at or near the most northerly corner of Lot 3 of the subdivisian of the G. B. Ezell Estate, as recarded in Volume 53, Page 8, of the Hays County Deed Records, from which a 15 inch Elm marked! bears S. 420 03' E. 47.0 feet, and a 7 inch Elm marked! bears N. 400 42' W. 19.8 feet; THENCE S. 460 30' W, at 130.00 feet an iron pipe, in all 165.1 feet to the most northerly corner and point of beginning of the tract herein described; THENCE along the southwesterly side of a 35 feet road by the follawing three courses: I 1.
