<br />I. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />rr 'i.i~ ~) <br /> <br />March 1966 <br /> <br />STATE OF TEJCAS <br /> <br />COUNTY, OF HAYS <br /> <br />", <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the City of <br />San Marcos, a Municipal Corporation in Halfs County, Texas, acting by and <br />through its Mayor, Ellis Serur, duly authorized hereinafter called the <br />"City", and the Texas Educational Foundation, Incorporated, a Texas non- <br />profit Corporation, acting by and through J. R. Thornton, Chairman of the <br />Board of Trustees, duly authorized, herein called the "Corporation"; <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />1. Under the terms and conditions hereinafter set out, the <br />City agrees to furnish garbage and trash collection services <br />for the Corporation at Gary Job Corps Training Center near <br />San Marcos, said Center being situated in Caldwell County, <br />Texas. <br /> <br />2. This Agreement shall commence on the 16th day of March, <br />1965, and shall tenninate on the 30th day of June 1966. <br /> <br />3. The minimum charge hereunder shall be $360.00 (Three <br />Hundred Sixty Dollars) per month from the beginning date <br />of this Agreement through June 30, 1965. For the period <br />July 1, 1965, through and including February 28, 1966, the <br />minimum charge shall be $1,700.00 (One Thousand Seven Hundred <br />Dollars) per month. For the period February 2B, 1966 through <br />and including June 30, 1966, the minimum charge shall be <br />$2,076 (Two Thousand and Seventy-Six Dollars) per month. <br />This graduated rate schedule reflects the increase of <br />Corpsmen, employees and resident families on the Center <br />up to the present maximum strength. <br /> <br />4. It is expressly understood and agreed by both parties <br />that this Agreement shall consist of two pickups per week <br />from the staff housing area, academic area, shops, and all <br />other areas except the cafeterias, ,student union, recrea- <br />tion hall, hospital, bakery, and snack bar, at which points <br />the pickup will be six days per week. It is further agreed <br />that no more than two cans, not exceeding thirty gallons <br />cap~city, will be collected from each staff housekeeping <br />unit. <br /> <br />.,.~~ <br />
