Searcy Smeth was in the process of nurchasing <br />some lots out of the Bla.nkenship & C".rothers Addn.He" employed }.fro <br />;,lbert \!alker as his attorney to ha.ndle the legal transfer of the <br />prcpert~r ' <br /> <br />On Ja.nuary 3, 1957 a Tax Certificate Was issued at the request of the <br />Attorney, st~til1g that an taxes were paid through 1956 on Lots <br />2,4,6, S thru 16, and pt of Lot 3. This Certificate was signed by <br />Judy Brackett, T~~ Assessor ~~d Collector, C:~y of San Y~rcos, and <br />bears the Seal of that Office. <br /> <br />It is my desire to dectuct the delinquent taxes that lat.er were found <br />to be due, since I feel that it was an error of the Tax Office and not <br />legally collectable, since the Tax Certificate was requested by the <br />Attorney soley for the proof that },~. Smith was not liable for any <br />t<Lxes for prior years, <br /> <br />I need the approval of this deduction so that a current Tax Certificate <br />cen now be issued as Hr.
