<br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING CERTAIN CITY <br />OFFICIALS; FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION <br />AND DUTIES; AND TERMS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The fol lowing persons are hereby appointed as <br /> <br />officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, effective as of <br /> <br />Apri I I, 1966: <br /> <br />NAME <br /> <br />OFFICE <br /> <br />Dorothy O. Worrell <br /> <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />Nancy Kreczmer <br /> <br />City Treasurer <br /> <br />George C. Reed <br /> <br />Tax Assessor-Col lector <br /> <br />W.A. Di a I <br /> <br />Chief of Police & <br />City Marshal <br /> <br />Jack Major <br /> <br />Fire Marshal <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Albert Tombaugh <br /> <br />Chief of Fire Department <br /> <br />Lewis Haynes <br /> <br />Chief of Volunteer <br />Fire Department <br /> <br />Albert M. Walker <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The above officials shall be compensated in <br /> <br />accordance with the annual budget and/or the provisions <br /> <br />of the Personnel Policy. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The officials named above shal I perform the <br /> <br />duties usually performed by officials occupying sim; lar <br /> <br />positions, and shal I perform such other duties as may <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />from time to time be assigned them by the Governing Body <br /> <br />or by the City Manager.
