Alderman Wh i t:tenberg <br />enquired how long the Lions Club would expect to <br />use the Recreation Ha II \"ithout charge, in return <br />for installation of air-conditioning the bui Iding. <br />He said there would have to be a specified time <br />limit. Alderman Froh said the Counci I should <br />study the proposal carefully - that he doubted wheth- <br />er the Council had a legal right to "tie up" the <br />Recreation Hall in advance, in return for air-con- <br />ditioning. He recommended that the City Attorney <br />be consulted on this point. The Mayor said the <br />Lions Club would be asked to present a more defin- <br />ite proposal. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an Ordinance amending the Bui Id- <br />ing Code, as recommended by the Bui Iding Inspector. <br />The Ordinance was read aloud and discussed. Alder- <br />man Damon moved adoption of the Ordinance. Alder- <br />man F roh seconded the. mati on, and on 1'0 J J ca II, the <br />fol lowing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved <br />and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor i~troduced an Ordinance amending part I~ <br />(Housing) of the Southern Building Code, which is <br />part of the C it);' s Bu i I di ngCode. The Mayor read <br />the Ordinance aloud. Alderman Froh moved adoption <br />of the Ord i nan ce. The City Manager <br />said this same ordinance was in force in.
