AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INTO SAID CITY I WHEREAS, the owners of a strip of land, said strip of land not exceeding one-half (~) mi Ie in width, being contiguous and adjacent to the present residents, qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature, have petitioned the City of San Marcos to annex said strip of land within the municipal I imits, a copy of said petition being hereto attached, marked NExhibit An, and made a part hereof for al I pertinent purposes; and, WHEREAS, it will be of signa I advantage to the City of San Marcos to annex said strip of land within its munici- pal limits: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas, that the said strip of land, hereinafter described by lot and addition, be and the same hereby is received as a part of the City of San Marcos, and the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos are hereby extended so as to include said strip of land, and from hence- forth the territory so received and annexed shall be a part of the City of San Marcos, and shal I be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City, in accordance with law. SAID STRIP OF LAND is described as: I All of that certain parcel of land lying and being situated in Hays County, Texas, and being the most northern one-half (~) of Lot No. One (I), and al I of Lot No. Two (2) in Block Four (4) of the Forest Hi I I Addition to the City of San Marcos, according to a map or plat of said addition of record in Volume 151, page 23, Hays County Deed Records. This parcel IS to be zoned NRN, single family residential.
